Get to Know Guli Fager, MPH

Guli Fager, MPH, joined Toler Financial Group in 2021 as a Financial Coach after a successful career in reproductive health and sex education. Her two decades of experience in behavior change, coaching, clinical process improvement, adult learning design and customer service are a tremendous asset to the Toler team.

While Guli is a career-changer, this is not her first rodeo in finance: in high school, she worked at the Hulbert Financial Digest, learning about real-world performance of investment advisory newsletters. After college, she wrote a web-based course for high school students called “Consumer Math” that covered all of the information that adults seem to say, “Why didn’t they teach us that in high school?”

Throughout her time in the field of sexual and reproductive health she has maintained an interest in personal finance and sees many parallels between her training in health behavior change and helping clients make financial decisions in line with their goals and values.

Guli completed an International Coaching Federation-Certified Life Coach Training program in 2018 and received a Master of Public Health in Sexuality and Health from Columbia University in 2007. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American and African American Studies from the University of Virginia.

Guli maintains an active consulting and career coaching practice, does triathlons, and lives in Baltimore with her husband, two dogs, and a very senior cat.
